TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio — A 16-year-old girl from Sugarcreek is fighting for her life following a crash that left her and two others hurt late Thursday afternoon in Tuscarawas County .
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the teen was driving her Ford Focus westbound on Dundee Strasburg Road when she approached state Route 93 in Wayne Township and did not yield for a stop sign. As she crossed the intersection, her car was struck on the driver's side by a northbound Dodge Ram pickup, sending both vehicle off the left side of the road just before 5 p.m.
The girl was taken by helicopter to the Summa Health Akron Campus with what are being called life-threatening injuries. 3News is choosing not to name her at this time.
