EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- Ben Early says it was non stop. He was dispatching Evansville Police on November 6, 2005 and says he will never forget it.

"I remember telling one officer, be careful, which is something you don't really say over the air," Early said.

Once the calls started coming in, it was all hands on deck. From dispatch to police to the fire department to emergency management. Early says it was hard to figure out where to send first responders because there was so much damage. Roads covered with trees and debris created a maze to get through.

"We had everybody heading that way and officers coming from the west side you know asking if there are any road blocked,” Early said. “I remember them having to move cars and firetrucks around to get more help there"
