CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Both sides of I-77 were shut down after a crash took down power lines in west Charlotte on Friday morning.
The Nov. 7 wreck happened shortly before 7 a.m. near Woodlawn Road.
One vehicle appeared to have come to a stop next to a concrete median, and power lines were seen draped all the way across I-77. It was unclear if any other vehicles were involved.
State transportation the roadway would not fully reopen until about 10 a.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash, nor if anyone was hurt.
