A Dublin man suspected of prowling and stealing personal items from a sorority house at the University of California, Berkeley was arrested by police on suspicion of multiple crimes, the department said Thursday.
On Saturday, members of a sorority house in the 2300 block of Warring Street said that an unknown man was seen inside the bedroom of one of the residents. The man then fled the house through a back door at about 6 a.m.
According to investigators, other women in the sorority had reported seeing the man as early as 3 a.m. A review of security footage showed the suspect walking inside and outside of the house until about 6:35 a.m. At one point the suspect left, changed clothes, then returned in a ski mask.
