A fleeing shooting suspect who was struck by a Portland police patrol car in the Lloyd District Wednesday has been released from a hospital and booked into Multnomah County jail.
Robert Hatley, 43, is accused of unlawful use of a weapon and felony possession of a firearm, the Police Bureau said in a news release . He is scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon.
Officers responded to the 400 block of Northeast Hassalo Street shortly before 10 p.m. after police said they received reports of a naked man “running around holding a handgun.” When officers arrived, they heard a shot fired and spotted a man with a gun, later identified as Hatley.
