CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A 30-year-old who allegedly possessed suspected marijuana and a suspected methamphetamine/fentanyl mix said she was trying to sell the drugs "to pay bills."
That's according to the affidavit in the criminal complaint Nutter Fort Deputy Chief Adam Zahradnik filed against Kayla Marie Tallman of Stonewood.
Zahradnik found the suspected drugs during a traffic stop late Friday, according to the complaint.
Police dog Gamma first had alerted to the potential of drugs in the vehicle, Zahradnik alleged.
The suspected marijuana weighed 23.82 grams, while the suspected methamphetamine/fentanyl mix weighed 63.6 grams, Zahradnik alleged.
Harrison Magistrate Mike Weiss set a $35,000 property, surety or 10/90 bond Saturday, during Tallman's first appearance.
Tallman pleaded not
