COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Parks and Recreation Department has announced the return of the local favorite holiday event, .
This marks the eighth year of the festival which aims to celebrate the beginning of the winter season in downtown Columbus. Winterfest Columbus will be held Dec. 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bicentennial Park.
The free event features local seasonal craft beer and cocktails, live music, some of Columbus' local food trucks and family-friendly winter activities.
Attendees can enjoy live performances from Wave Magnetik, RJD2 and Damn Girl.
Several seasonal beers from local breweries will be served, including:
Rime, from Seventh Son Brewing Company
Winter Staycation, from Brewdog
Tracksuit Santa, from Columbus Brewing Co.
Christmas Ale, from Great Lakes Brewing Co
