LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Milford Eagles Volleyball team defeated Holdrege in 4 sets to win Milford’s first-ever Volleyball State Championship.

Milford won the first set, Holdrege took the second, and then the Eagles rolled from that point on. Milford was led by Shayla Rautenberg who finished with 30 kills and 17 digs in the match.

Rautenberg is a Nebraska Volleyball target and the daughter of Nebraska Athletics Hall of Famer Lisa Reitsma (Nebraska volleyball, 1994-97).
