COLUMBUS, Ohio — Authorities are investigating a crash Saturday night involving a West Licking fire truck and a semitrailer on Interstate 70.
According to a social media post from the West Licking Joint Fire District, fire crews were called to a crash on I-70 . Upon arrival, a fire truck was blocking the inside lane when it was hit by the semi on the driver's side, the post says.
No injuries were reported. However, the fire truck was damaged and is currently out of service, according to the fire department.
"We are grateful that no one was injured in this incident," the post reads. "Please use this as a reminder to slow down and pull over when you see emergency lighting."
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash involving the fire truck.
