BECKLEY -- Harris Coulter came up big twice on Saturday for Hurricane to take down Woodrow Wilson for the first WVSSAC Class AAAA boys soccer state tournament championship.
Coulter first delivered a game-tying goal with 7:19 to play in regulation, then he converted the game-winning kick from the mark that clinched Hurricane's third championship in school history.
"I knew we were going to come back," Coulter said. "We're a second-half team."
The rematch of last season's Class AAA title game won by the Flying Eagles appeared to be heading Woodrow's way again.
After No. 1 seed Woodrow Wilson and No. 3 Hurricane battled to a scoreless tie in the first half, the Flying Eagles' Hagen Hall broke the stalemate with a well-timed kick on a ball in front of the Hurricane goal and past keeper Seth
