The Buffalo Bills may not have made any trades at the 2025 NFL trade deadline, but you can’t say that general manager Brandon Beane didn’t try.
In fact, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Bills attempted to land two star players from within the AFC East.
In a report on Sunday morning, Pelissero said that the Bills offered the Miami Dolphins, their opponent this week, a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 1st-round pick for Waddle.
Miami rejected the offer as they did not want to deal Waddle, a No. 1 receiver, within the division. In-division trades are rare, but the Dolphins are years away from competing in the AFC East.
