A mother and three kids escaped from a crash with minor injuries after a collision on Union Avenue at South Lyerly Street.

Firefighters help rescue family from Union Ave. crash
All four people inside the SUV were stuck, so crews broke the windshield.
"They took extra precautions to make sure the crash victims were not harmed by the broken glass," the fire department said in a social media post.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. We're reaching out to Chattanooga police to learn more.
