BOWLING GREEN, Mo. -- Take advantage of the opportunities in front of you.
That was exactly what the Bowling Green Bobcats were looking to do when they played their first playoff game in the Class 2A District Semifinals on Friday night against the Priory Ravens.
With both teams sitting at three wins, the Bobcats showed who the better team was with an easy 54-12 win at home on a brisk night to set up a rematch against Montgomery County in the district championship game.
Bowling Green got off to a hot start. They took the ball first and ran the ball down Priory’s throat.
The Bobcats got on the board first when running back Chase Buffington scored from 33-yards out to grab an early lead with 9:59 left to go in the first quarter. They would convert a two-point conversion for an 8-0 lead.
