CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that happened early Saturday morning in Claiborne County.

According to a preliminary report by THP, an SUV being driven by 22-year-old Katlin Burger was traveling eastbound on Forge Ridge Road at around 12:16 a.m.

In the 1600 block, THP said Burger failed to stay in her lane and crossed over the center line before going off the left side of the roadway, where the car overturned and hit a tree.

Burger died from injuries sustained in the crash, THP said. She was the only person in the sole car involved in the crash.
