KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Tennessee Volunteers have moved up in the AP Poll following their second bye week of the season.

The latest AP Poll released on Sunday has the Vols ranked No. 21 in the country, an improvement of two spots from No. 23, where the Vols were ranked last week after a loss at home to Oklahoma.

Ohio State maintains its No. 1 position with Indiana ranked No. 2. Other SEC teams ranked in the top 25 are No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 4 Alabama, No. 5 Georgia, No. 6 Ole Miss, No. 10 Texas, No. 11 Oklahoma and No. 13 Vanderbilt.

The Vols will now look to the College Football Playoff poll that will be revealed Tuesday night. Last week, Tennessee found themselves barely in the conversation at No. 25.
