Two pensioners have been found dead at a home in a quiet village, sparking a police investigation.

Officers were called to the address in Warsash, Hampshire, following a concern for welfare on Friday. Two women, one aged in her 70s and another in her 80s, were found deceased at the property in Church Road. Hampshire Police have launched a probe to determine the "circumstances" of their deaths. The force added that extra officers would be deployed to the area following the tragic discovery.
