PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two motorcycle riders were seriously injured in a crash late Sunday in northwest Phoenix.
Crews from the Phoenix and Glendale fire departments responded to the reported crash near 51st Avenue and Thunderbird Road around 8:15 p.m.
When they got to the scene, firefighters found a motorcycle involved in a crash.
Two people were riding the motorcycle at the time of the crash, and they were taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to Phoenix Fire. Two other people, a woman and a child, were also involved in the crash but did not require hospitalization.
It’s unclear what led to this crash. The area is now fully reopened.
