Four people died and two were injured last weekend in separate car crashes in Washtenaw and Macomb counties.

In the first incident, three vehicles and a semi-truck were involved in a crash in the area of Michigan Avenue and Willow Road in Saline Township around 7:30 p.m. Friday, the Michigan State Police First District reported.

The collision left two male drivers dead and two women injured, MSP said.

A 56-year-old man from Brooklyn was driving a 2012 Dodge Ram west on Michigan Avenue when he tried to pass a 2024 Volvo semi-truck with a trailer driven by a 57-year-old man from Birmingham, state police said.
