SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) - A man was arrested Monday morning after a Converse University student woke up to find him standing in her room.
According to reports from the Spartanburg Police Department, officers were called to Converse University at 7:04 a.m. regarding a suspicious person.
At the school, officers were reportedly told by members of the campus safety team a man later identified as Dante Ludy entered a campus dorm building through a laundry room window.
According to a police report, a female student woke up around 6 a.m. to find Ludy standing next to her bed. The student told police she yelled at Ludy and asked him what he was doing, but he did not respond.
The student reported the incident and Ludy was located and taken into custody by the Converse University's campus safet
