An attempted carjacking in Belltown forced a legally armed victim to shoot two suspects Sunday morning.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., Seattle Police Department (SPD) officers responded to a shooting in the 2200 block of 1st Avenue, SPD announced . Officers located a suspect suffering from several gunshot wounds and detained him at the scene. The victim, a licensed gun owner, was also detained for questioning, and the firearm was recovered.
