OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. —
An Indiana man will spend up to 15 years in prison for selling stolen pontoon boats in Ottawa County.
Lance Holland, of Fort Wayne, IN, was arrested in May 2024 following an investigation into stolen pontoon boat sales. Holland was arrested along with Ceandra Jackson, also from Fort Wayne.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives uncovered the sale of two stolen boats to a Jamestown Township area man who unknowingly purchased them online.
Detectives say the boats were stolen from dealerships in Kentucky and Alabama.
After the initial sale, investigators learned the suspects were allegedly taking two more stolen boats to Ottawa County.
Holland’s attorney asked for him to be sentenced at the lower end of his guidelines, so he can pay back the restitution quicker and
