Funding to help protect thousands of acres across Virginia, including property in Nelson County

RICHMOND, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A piece of land in Nelson County will be conserved thanks to grant funding announced on Monday.

Governor Glenn Youngkin announced $15.5 million in Virginia Land Conservation Foundation Funding, which will help conserve more than 8,600 acres across the Commonwealth.
