Fast food chain Wendy’s is planning to close hundreds of locations nationwide next year as part of a move to boost profits.
The company has not yet released a list of which locations will stay open and which will close. Across Alaska, there are eight Wendy’s restaurants, including five in Anchorage. Local customers and employees will be watching closely for updates as decisions are made.
Wendy’s says it will provide more information on closures as the process moves forward.
