SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – As the government shutdown drags into its 41st day, SNAP benefits remain in limbo, bringing state lawmakers back to the Roundhouse to keep New Mexico families from going hungry. On Monday, they approved more than $160 million in funding for food assistance.
