CINCINNATI, Ohio — Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was back on the practice field on Monday for the first time since being sidelined on Sept. 14 with a turf toe injury that required surgery.
The return to practice opened Burrow’s 21-day window to come back off injured reserve. When he spoke to reporters on Monday, Burrow was asked when he might return to the field.
“Now we’ll see how these next couple weeks go. You know, there’s a lot that goes into it,” Burrow explained to reporters. “There’s a lot of variables that you have to consider, and we’re just going to see how these next couple weeks go, see how it feels.”
