The original founders of Hooters are restoring the restaurant chain’s classic look, including its vintage orange shorts and white T-shirts, after regaining control of the brand, Parade reports.
The change comes as Hooters Inc., led by the restaurant’s original founders, purchased Hooters of America following a turbulent period marked by financial struggles and controversy. The chain had closed dozens of locations in recent years due to bankruptcy and declining sales.
Under the new ownership, the company plans to reintroduce the original uniforms across all restaurants as part of a broader effort to revive Hooters’ nostalgic beach-bar image.
