The Prince and Princess of Wales told their children everything about Catherine ’s cancer diagnosis, Prince William has revealed in an interview with a Brazilian TV network.

The future king and queen share three children: Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven.

“Every family goes through difficult times and faces challenges together,” William told Brazilian TV host, Luciano Huck.

“How you deal with those moments makes all the difference. We decided to tell our children everything, both the good news and the bad.

“We explain to them why certain things happen and why they might feel upset.

“There’s no rule book for being a parent, and we chose to talk about everything.”

He went on to say none of the couple’s children have phones.
