LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Texas man has been indicted on multiple charges after allegedly threatening University of Louisville football coach Jeff Brohm, members of his family and quarterback Miller Moss.
Brian Mandel faces six counts of terroristic threatening and a count of criminal attempt by extortion over $10,000.
Mandel allegedly made threats toward Brohm’s family, including brother and offensive coordinator Brian Brohm, on Nov. 8 and Nov 9.
The threats came following Louisville’s overtime loss against California Saturday night.
Mandel’s indictment was handed down by a Jefferson County grand jury on Monday and did not further elaborate on the nature of the alleged crimes.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
