GAFFNEY, S.C. —

An investigation is underway after a shooting left one person injured in Gaffney, South Carolina.

Around 8 p.m. Monday, officers with the Gaffney Police Department were dispatched to a home on Annette Street after a shooting with injuries was reported.

Upon arrival, officers found a man who was injured and immediately began providing medical aid. The victim was taken by EMS to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Authorities urge anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the shooting or has information about the shooting to contact the Gaffney Police Department at (864) 206-3334.
