NORRISTOWN — A Norristown man continued to maintain his innocence as he learned he’ll spend at least a decade in prison after a jury convicted him of charges he sexually abused an underage girl on two occasions while she was in his company at locations in the borough.

Shikeem R. Dorsey, 37, of the 1000 block of Powell Street, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court on Monday to 10-to-20-years in a state correctional facility on charges of aggravated indecent assault of a child, indecent assault of a child, endangering the welfare of a child and corruption of a minor in connection with incidents that occurred between 2020 and 2022.

The girl was 9 years old at the time of the first assault and 11 at the time of the second assault, according to testimony. The assaults occurred at locations
