Authorities said the explosion occurred late on Monday night in a slow-moving car close to Netaji Subhash Marg near Red Fort Chowk in the crowded Old Delhi neighbourhood. The explosion set off a fire that engulfed multiple vehicles — including cars and auto-rickshaws — and sent shockwaves across the crowded streets.
