A one-stop shop for Japanese-inspired ice cream and doughnuts in Cambridge will soon be gone.
Taiyaki NYC and The Dough Club in Harvard Square are closing later this month, the company announced on social media.
“After many sweet memories, it’s time to say goodbye 💔 Our shop will be closing on Sunday, November 23, 2025," The Dough Club wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Nov. 5. “Come visit us one last time for your favorite mochi donuts & Taiyaki ice cream 🍩🍦 Thank you for all the love and support over the years, we couldn’t have done it without you."
Known for its soft-serve ice cream served in fish-shaped cones, Taiyaki NYC opened its Harvard Square location alongside its sister business in 2022 . Meanwhile, The Dough Club specializes in Japanese mochi donuts as well
