New Delhi: Veteran actor Govinda was admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu after he lost consciousness at his residence late on Tuesday night.

Govinda, 61, experienced disorientation at home and was given medication following a telephonic consultation with a doctor. When his condition did not improve, he was taken to CritiCare and admitted to the emergency unit around 1 am.

Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha said that the actor had been admitted for a thorough check-up. “He has been admitted for a thorough check up to know what happened,” Sinha said.
