MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. — A Mounds View High School teacher is accused of engaging in sexual contact with a 16-year-old student, according to court documents.

Court documents released by the Ramsey County Attorney's office show prosecutors charged Ted Bennett, 58, with two counts of criminal sexual conduct after investigators allegedly found evidence on the student's cell phone of "multiple forms of sexual contact." According to the criminal complaint, the two began communicating at the end of the 2024-25 school year and their relationship became sexual in October. Prosecutors claim Bennett also gave the victim alcohol and drugs.
