Someone You Should Know: Unique collection on his farm

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Oran Sorenson farms on his land near Garretson, where he grew up.

“I had a wonderful dad, Paul. He was the best dad a guy could ever have. And he expected us to work hard, and we did. We had nine hundred acres. We had nine tractors,” said Oran.

His dad’s favorite tractor was an International Harvester, and over the past forty-plus years, Oran has collected all things I-H.

“I used to collect all brands, and I finally got smart and realized I couldn’t do it all. So I narrowed it down to International Harvester,” said Oran.

That collection of all things is in this building on his farm.

“I needed a shed, so I built a big shed. And I put this addition on here, because our house and garage and everything was overflowing with the stuff I was collecting,”
