OTTAWA — It’s been majorly underwhelming. Speaking to reporters from Calgary, Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre said Prime Minister Mark Carney’s “nation-building projects” plan has so far served up a disappointing mix of projects — many of which weren’t exactly surprises. “Mark Carney’s been prime minister for eight months, promising to move at ‘unimaginable speeds,’ and yet there’s not a single project that he has launched that wasn’t already in the making or approved before he took office,” Poilievre said in response to the Calgary Sun’s Rick Bell. “Mark Carney needs to do only one thing for us to get a pipeline from Alberta to the pacific: get out of the way.” Two of the projects announced by Carney in September — phase two of the LNG Canada facility in Kitimat
