If you're a student in the Kanawha County Schools system who wants to have a voice in the district's decisions that most affect you, there's a team being formed that needs your help.

Announced on Monday , KCS officials plan to launch the Student Leadership Team, a new initiative that calls students to help shape their own education plans in West Virginia’s largest school district.

Each KCS middle, high, and career/technical school will select one or two student representatives who demonstrate leadership qualities, strong character and a desire to represent their school's student body.
