New Delhi, Nov 13: India and Canada are pursuing enhanced bilateral trade and investment, as discussed by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Canada’s Minister of International Trade, Maninder Sidhu, during the 7th India-Canada Ministerial Dialogue.

Sidhu’s visit aims to advance trade linkages and promote sectors such as artificial intelligence and clean technology. Bilateral trade exceeded $30 billion in 2024, making India a key partner for Canada in the Indo-Pacific region.

Furthermore, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met with Canadian counterpart Anita Anand to strengthen cooperation in trade, energy, and security, highlighting ongoing efforts under the New Roadmap 2025.
