TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif. - A natural gas leak near Dales Station led to evacuation warnings and road closures on Tuesday night. Action News Now reporter Jesse Angelo was on the scene at Inks Creek Road, where PG&E crews worked to repair the leak.
The gas leak was reported around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday near Dales Station. Within an hour, Cal Fire had two engines at the scene, and a helicopter was monitoring the area. The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office and California Highway Patrol also responded by closing Manton Road at Highway 36 as a precaution.
