CHICO, Calif. — The City of Chico is asking residents to share their opinions on how to make local roads safer. The city released a new survey designed to help reduce fatal and serious crashes on major streets such as Broadway.

The survey includes six questions — three multiple choice, two ranking, and one written — and takes about ten minutes to complete. Participants can access it through a QR code provided by the city.

“I’m a father of a two-year-old and a little girl coming in January, and I’d love to give my input to the city on what changes they can make,” said Drew Bailey Pace, a Chico resident. “We’ll be here for a while raising a family. I think it’s important they are doing this to collect the data and make the best improvements that they can for the most people.”
