ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Charles Moore, 102, is a World War II veteran, a former educator and a member of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity.

Last week, Morris Brown College dedicated a classroom in his honor.

Moore earned his bachelor’s degree from Morris Brown, where he was later offered a job.

Moore has donated money over the years to Morris Brown, and also assisted the HBCU in securing grants. Moore’s efforts also have helped endow a scholarship at Morris Brown.

Moore’s fraternity brothers also give money to school on the occasion of his birthday every year.
