LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Two Lincoln men were arrested Sunday afternoon after a traffic stop in Fillmore County.
According to the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy pulled over a Jeep Cherokee for an equipment violation near U.S. 81 and County Road H. The deputy “became increasingly suspicious” during the stop, and the occupants consented to a search.
FCSO said the deputy found roughly 2.2 pounds of cocaine hidden inside the spare tire.
Samir Al-Sawami and Dustin Hunyh, both 24 and from Lincoln, were arrested without incident and booked into the Fillmore County Jail.
