MADISON (WKOW) -- Gun deer season opens in one week, on Saturday, Nov. 22, and hunters are getting ready.
2025 Wisconsin Gun Deer Season Preview
WAUSAU, Wis. (WAOW) – The 2025 nine-day gun deer hunt beings on November 22 and will run through Sunday, November 30.
Across southern Wisconsin, sight-in events are helping hunters check the accuracy of their firearms in a controlled environment.
The Dane County Sheriff's Office ranges at the Waunakee Training Center will be open daily from today through Nov. 21. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cost is $10 per shooter and $5 for each additional gun. Cash or check only; no debit or credit cards are accepted. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
