A collision Friday afternoon involving a dump truck hauling hot asphalt and other vehicles closed lanes along State Route 101 in Scottsdale, authorities said.

The crash, which occurrred on southbound SR-101 at milepost 40 near Thunderbird Road, resulted in minor injuries, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The dump truck rolled onto its side and leaked fluid.

The Arizona Department of Transportation and towing companies are working on cleanup of the fluid and asphalt, officials said.

The HOV and three left lanes were closed early Friday afternoon.
