10-year-old drives home from Mt. Juliet's W.A. Wright Elementary School, police say.

A 10-year-old drove home from a Mt. Juliet Elementary School Nov. 14 after a parent went inside the school, according to police.

Mt. Juliet police responded to W.A. Wright Elementary School on a report of a stolen vehicle with a child inside, according to the department.

Officers later found the car and the child at the home of the 10-year-old.

School video showed the 10-year-old child climb into the driver's seat and drive off after the parent went inside the school.

No damage from the ride was reported.
