A Killeen man was indicted this week after being accused of stalking a childhood friend, who then had to shoot him in self defense, according to police.

On Wednesday, a Bell County grand jury indicted Michael Brian Pagano, 36, on a third-degree felony charge of stalking. Pagano was booked into the Bell County Jail on Sept. 12, and was being held on Thursday with a bond of $20,000, listed.

On Nov. 19, 2024, Killeen police received a report of a disturbance involving gunfire in the 4200 block of Chaps Court.
