Women who frequently clean at home could face a serious long-term health risk. Studies have revealed that prolonged exposure to cleaning products may lead to significant deterioration in lung function.
The research also discovered that a decade or two of regular cleaning had similar effects on the lungs as smoking 20 cigarettes daily over the same period. Researchers at the University of Bergen in Norway examined data from 6,235 participants as part of their investigation.
