New research has revealed that hormonal contraceptive pills could be concealing crucial symptoms of two serious conditions affecting women's health; endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome ( PCOS ). This means that thousands of women could be facing delayed diagnoses , which may have long-term effects on their health and fertility.
