STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Those looking to enjoy the wonder of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade may want to prepare for some wind and maybe even some rain, as an early forecast indicates this holiday may not feature the most idyllic weather.
Paul Pastelok, lead U.S. long-range forecaster for AccuWeather , told the Advance/SILive.com that the week of Thanksgiving is shaping up to be a wet one.
According to Pastelok, the weekend ahead of the holiday will likely feature a rainy system off the New England Coast. As of Friday afternoon, he expects rain during that Sunday night into Monday morning.
