A BBC expert issued a stark warning that drivers could be hit with instant fines of £2,500 and three penalty points if they get behind the wheel of certain vehicles. On BBC Morning Live recently, presenter Louise Minchin disclosed that 168,000 people are at risk of facing sanctions.

The warning relates to a major recall affecting Citroen vehicles. Ms Minchin explained that more than 168,000 motorists have been issued with 'do not drive' notices for their cars because of a potentially dangerous defect with the airbags.
